What to Pack
You just made it to your Michigan Vacation! Here are some things that are often forgotten when staying at a Michigan Dream Vacation rental.
For the house
While we do our best to keep the house fully stocked and provide starter paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters), its always a good idea to bring these items - just in case:
Shampoo and Conditioner
Extra Pillowcases (we have extra pillows available)
Toothpaste
Sunscreen and aloe
Bug Spray
Beach Towels
Blow dryer - each property has one, but you might require additional
Insider tip: Bring some Baby Powder. It takes the sand right off, wet or dry!
For the Kitchen
Condiments - anything that might be a favorite of yours, please bring them
Spices and seasonings - we have salt and pepper, but you might like additional seasonings
Cereal or other breakfast foods
Coffee - and don't forget your favorite creamer
What to leave at home: Small Appliances. We supply most small appliances (blender, coffeemaker, etc.) If you have any questions, please check with Karen for a list of what is available at your rental.
Other Items to Think About:
Laundry Detergent - detergent is supplied, but if your family has chemical sensitivities; please bring your own
Pillow and Blanket - Please feel free to bring your favorite pillows and blankets
Dirty Laundry Bag
Clothes Hangers - we do provide hangers, but there might not be enough for your stay
Rain gear and extra clothing - depending on the season, extra warm clothes may come in handy
